Pill Monitor Pro App Reviews

Did I take it at 8 or 9?

This is great for helping remind you to take meds, but also track WHEN you took them. If youre in something that requires a certain amount of time between doses or food, it is VERY helpful. I used the free version for years, but now use the paid version. I just like not being limited in the number of history items.

Annoying update

While not a major issue, the latest update no longer allows you to action notifications - mark as Taken, Snooze, Skip - if your phone is locked. Now, when you try to take action, it prompts you to unlock your phone. Not a deal breaker but certainly annoying!

Excellent tracking of medication

I used this to remind me when my daughter needs to take her insulin. Excellent. Wouldnt be able to remember without this program. 100% approval

Very helpful

Great for keeping track of meds. Can keep all info for each one. Tracks Drs info, pharmacy & Rx #.

Terrible App

Works randomly on iPhone 6 with latest OS. Looking now for reliable replacement.

Life saver

This app is a life saver for me now that my life depends on my taking medication at specific times every day.

Needs work

This is a rather good and stable app for the most part. However it needs to find a way to schedule PRN drugs. Also on the history page when I clicked by date I didnt get anything. I think I shouldve gotten the date even if I had cleared all history. Also when I have to take some medicine three times a day it doesnt help me schedule three times and equal intervals. At least I dont think it does I havent found the way it does. I may be mistaken. But as I said in the beginning the best thing about this is it is reliable.

Pill Monitor Is Perfect

I take different pills at different times of the day, this app reminds me of what and when I need to take. Also, my physicians need to know what Im taking. All I have to do is open the app and its all there.

Data entry

I have to enter data twice. I enter data as I take my medications, but the next day I have to re-enter the same data. Its like the program cant remember the data I have already entered. Two months after this post the program has not been corrected or updated.

Invaluable

I love this app! I never have to worry about missing a dose. I couldnt live without it. Literally!

Great App - Keep updating

This app has been so helpful keeping up with my medications since 2010 when I was placed on the transplant list. The enhancements are great... Swiping to Snooze/Taken...being able to mark all taken on time. What about an option to choose a snoozing time or even have a "lead" alarm. That would be helpful if someone was attending a meeting, movie, or other "phones off" function. Its great! Thanks!!

Ok

I have been using the app since discharge from hospital last week. Im on both scheduled medications every 4 hours plus a few PRN medications. It feels clunky adding a PRN but I REALLY appreciate space for a note. My PRN medications include a narcotic and a benzodiazepine. I make a note, such as "8/10 headache" when I take the narcotic or "restless/insomnia" when taking benzo. I can then send results. There are many improvements Id like to see, such as sending as a CSV or XML type file... something I could import for further info.

What Id like to see in an update

I take a lot of different meds for different conditions. But the main reason I use this app is to log my headache meds and the frequency of them which my neurologist always wants to know. It would be great if there was a way to keep more than one log. In other words, I could then look at one list of "headache meds" and nothing else. So to solve the problem, I just started using the paid version exclusively for my headache meds and the free version for everything else. But I hate ads, probably a lot more than most people, and rather use the paid version for both. I love this app and adding this feature would be awesome!

App crashes

I just purchased Pill Monitor, downloaded it, and tried opening it. It did not open on my iPhone 6+ running iOS 8.4.1.

Great app - please add graphs to history

Great app overall. My feedback would be to add a graph or chart to the history options so I can see where I did and did not take my meds at the right times, over time. That would be really helpful, I hope you will consider it. God bless, and thanks!

VERY HELPFUL!!

This app really helps you keep track of your meds and the alarm feature to remind you is fabulous! There are still some features that could use improvement (esp. the user friendliness & instructions for changing meds) but all-in-all its probably the best med monitoring app out there!

Great med reminder

Alarms every day as designed. Keeps tract of your responses to measure med compliance. I take my bp med much more reliably now that I use this app.

Clunky

Takes way too much time to fulfill a relatively simple function. Once I had all of my info entered, it still did not really keep track of medication taken/not taken.

Amazing!!

I have problems with memory and this helps me so much! Life saver!

Reliable

Most complete and reliable pill tracker Ive yet used. A few requests: - include the day of the week next to all dates - allow for multiple alerts for one dosage due. I often am unable to take medicine right when the due time is (in meetings, etc), and snooze isnt enough. If I have overdue doses Id like an alert to show up at the interval of my choosing (ie every hour, every two hours until taken). - allow for impromptu medications, such as NSAIDs or cold medicine or lozenges, to be logged without setting up a recurring dosage. - see upcoming reminders: maybe theres a way, but Id like to see reminders coming up for that day. Again, because of meetings etc, I can then take some medicines in advance if I know Ill be busy when they are due.
